Hi, I'm Angie! When yoga found me over a decade ago- my curious nature, passion and sense of adventure led me on a solo trek to the land where yoga originated. I deepened my study of the ancient practice at Shrimath Yoga, an ashram in a small village in South India. It was during this authentic immersion and transforming experience, I learned yoga is not only something you do on your mat; yoga is a journey into the Self. It’s about practicing and integrating the teachings into my being on a daily basis so that, as Patanjali says, we may learn to calm the fluctuations of the mind. This is the ultimate goal of yoga for me.
Since that first experience in India, I've continued my yoga studies in Kathmandu, Nepal, Bali, Indonesia and Rishikesh, India. I am a certified 500 RYT with Yoga Alliance and 200 RYT with Yoga Alliance International. I've been fortunate to share the teachings of yoga, meditation, and pranayama techniques at retreat centers and studios around the globe, including Portugal, Andaman Islands, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, and Bali.
